2012 Events and Meetings
Florence is proud of its events. From May to New Years, we have our major events and the Florentine Players have events throughout the year. Read more details on each one. Several events are yearly neighborhood traditions. "Florence Days" is celebrated in May. The holiday season is celebrated with Christmas Tree Lighting in Florence Park by the Florence Historical Foundation, along with the annual Gingerbread display at the Mormon Trail Center from early December until Christmas Eve. Florence organization meeting dates are shown on the organizations page. See left side for events for today, tomorrow, and the upcoming weekend.
Some events are recurring events. Some dates shown are based on past year information. Some details for later in the year events may change. Check with any contacts for confirmation. Florence Futures Foundation makes an effort to provide accurate information, however, we do not guarantee the accuracy of any event details.
2012 Events in Historic Florence:*
All 2012 events have not been officially supplied. All items on this page have been deducted by the web developer from the 2011 schedule, and are likely correct. The non-tentative Florentine Players information based on data published by the Florentine Players is likely very correct. Some Florentine Players information is based on past year events because the data has not been updated by the Florentine Players, and therefore labeled as tentative. End of year Holiday events (Gingerbread, Tree Lighting, Caroling) have been consistent and also likely correct.
Events in question are the NOCC picnic, Boy Scouts event, Notre Dame Convent Auction, and possibly Antique Auction, Florentine Players December Melodrama, Garage Sales, and other events. Also details of Florence Days may vary from below, such as band, or locations, or time of day. Updates and confirmations needed as soon as possible; the world is watching and already asking for 2012 information.
