2004 Events

Florence is proud of its events. From May to New Years, we have our major events and the Florentine Players have events throughout the year. Read more details on each one. Several events are yearly neighborhood traditions. "Florence Days" is celebrated the third (or fourth) weekend of May. The holiday season is celebrated with Christmas Tree Lighting in Florence Park by the Florence Historical Foundation, along with the annual Gingerbread display at the Mormon Trail Center from Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve. Participate in a scavenger hunt through the Florence neighborhood. Follow "Territorial Tales" to a variety of historical sites where character re-enactors will provide musings on the history of the territory.
