Florence Library and Recreation Center

The Florence Library is more than a library; it also has a community recreation center built right in.  Area residents can enjoy a basketball court, pool room, children's playroom, arts and crafts classroom, and meeting room.

The library section has several computers, a sizeable selection of books, and a great selection of magazines.  Filing cabinets contain area archives for research purposes.

In spite of all the wonderful things the Florence library has, it has been falling behind when compared to other Omaha suburbs.  The Florence Library Advocacy Group (F.L.A.G.) promotes getting the Florence Library up to par with other libraries.
